Linda Cross, 84, of Sparta, IL; born on November 8, 1940, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Emmett and Joella (née, Reeves) Shaneyfeit; passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Linda loved the outdoors and spending time with her beloved husband, Glenn. She enjoyed fishing and hunting of all kinds. They enjoyed traveling and spending time in their cabin together at Lake of the Ozarks.
Linda is survived by her loving husband – Glenn T. Cross, Sr., to whom she married on May 14, 1960 in St. Louis, MO; two daughters – Diana (spouse, Jack) Holifield of Siloam Springs, AR and Lisa (spouse, Alvin) Olson of Cincinnati, OH; eight grandchildren – John, Glenn III, Austin, Jeff, Brad, Laura, Andy, and Matthew; thirteen great grandchildren – Jake, Mason, Alex, Tucker, Layton, Nathan, Greta, Hazel, Willow, Nellie, Dillon, Logan, and Jackson; two step grandchildren – Katey (husband, Josh) and Eric (wife, Haily); step great grandchildren – Adriana, Brantley
