Linda May Carpenter, 70, of Sparta, IL; born on January 23, 1954 in Steubenville, Ohio; the daughter of Russell and Arlene (Craven) Carpenter; passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024 at home with her loving spouse by her side.
Linda worked at TG Missouri in Perryville for ten years before suffering health issues that did not allow her to work any longer. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed being outdoors. Linda liked fishing in her pond for all types of fish, playing pool in the basement, and spending time with family and friends. She also loved to work on cars with her spouse, Barb.
She is survived by her loving spouse – Barbara Sandheinrich of Sparta, IL to whom she married on May 4, 2015 in Chester, IL; daughter – Nicole (Dean) Buch of Sparta, IL; five grandchildren – Raven Hodges, Brendan Baranowski, Tyler Buch, Cameron Buch, and Landon Buch; two brothers – Russ (Donna) Carpenter of Benton, IL and David Carpenter of Ohio; two sisters – Christine (Burt) Gibbs of Ohio
