ELLIS GROVE - Violet Mae Feaman, 99, of Ellis Grove, passed away peacefully at 5:15 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2024, at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation, Chester.She was born to the late Walter Thomas and Sara Lee Verna May (nee Stout) Burris on Nov. 26, 1924, in Belknap.Violet married Quincy L. Feaman on Nov. 10, 1977, in Ellis Grove; he preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1993.She had worked as a teacher in New Burnside, as well as Ellis Grove Elementary School. After retirement, Violet spent many years volunteering for the Hospital Auxiliary.Violet was a member of First Baptist Church in Ellis Grove, where she played the piano and the organ for many years. She was also a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Violet enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to fellowship with others.She is survived by her son, Gregory (Judy) Cox; one niece, Vicki (Bob) Riseling, one son-in-law, Roger Nitzsche; five grandchildren, Kyle (Porsha) Nitzsche, Ryan (Rose) Nitzsche,
