DELAY
Grace Marie Delay, 67, of Tilden, IL; born on December 9, 1956 in North Platte, NE, the daughter of Albert D. and Geraldine Wolcott; passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital in Highland, IL.
Grace was a dietician for Centennial Nursing Home in North Platte for many years. She was kind-hearted and always had good questions to ask that made you think. Grace had nothing bad to say about anyone, she was the friend that everyone needs.
Grace is survived by her husband of eight years – Ed Delay of Tilden, IL to whom she married in North Platte, NE; two children – Julie Fisher of North Platte, NE and Ryan Cassell of North Platte, NE; five grandchildren; sister – Rosetta (Jim) Barnfield of North Platte, NE; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ronald Dean Wolcott.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Tilden First Baptist Church.
